When you install the legacy collection it lets you install the vst in a different place from the other programs but maybe you missed that stage. You need to check that M1.dll, WAVESTATION.dll and MDE-X.dll are in your live plugins folder. I know it was installed correctly as I can run the synths in stand alone mode no problem. I went to the folder where Live searches for plug-ins and all the correct Legacy Collection.
